Bittersweet.Bald.But God! Celebrating One Year Cancer-Free!

Dear Family and Friends,

I want to be the “one leper” who turns back to thank Jesus (and I want to bring you with me!) Join me? (P.S. In case you missed my Happy Dance on Facebook, doc called Wednesday, “Your MRI doesn’t show any brain abnormalities. Happy Thanksgiving!”)

One of them, when he saw that he had been healed, returned and praised God with a loud voice. He fell on his face at Jesus’ feet and thanked him. Luke 17:15-16

Today, November 25, is my survivor date for BreastCancer#2 – the date Dr. Gresik skillfully removed my entire tumor, leaving clean margins (and a better than expected cosmetic result to boot!). WooHoo!

Wanting to thank God (and thank all of you!), we hosted a Thanks and Praise Celebration last Saturday. Nearly 100 beloved family and friends gathered. Beautiful! Exactly what I had hoped for!

But so many more of you loved us through this bittersweet year, so I want to share a glimpse of our celebration with you and invite you to pause and thank God with me.

Jacqui created a slideshow to help us remember God’s faithfulness. Will you watch, remember, and thank God “for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many?” 2 Cor. 1:11

You can’t tell from the picture, but I wrote THANKS!!! with post-it notes, each shouting a specific thanks. So good for me to remember!

Praying we know Him more and more as Faithful!

Forever Grateful,

Becky (His.Princess.Warrior)
